This might be a little morbid, but I drove past the funeral home the other day and smoke was coming from the stack at the back.\u00a0 You know what that means, someone has passed on, leaving this life behind, and moving on to the next spiritual plane.\u00a0 It got me thinking, in spite of all the different prophets, seers, visionaries and so forth, we don\u2019t really know where we go, if anywhere, after death.\u00a0 Most likely we go nowhere, and the smoke from the funeral home is our last hurrah.\u00a0 Depressing?\u00a0 Maybe, but it shouldn\u2019t be.\u00a0 Since we don\u2019t know where we\u2019re going, we need to focus on what we have now.\u00a0 This life, this 80 years plus or minus on this planet, is what we know we have.\u00a0 We need to make every bit of use of that time.\u00a0 We need to live our lives to our best ability, have a family, do good things, have fun, and keep that focus on the here and now.\u00a0 None of know what is next, but we do know what is now.\u00a0 Make the most of the time that we have, don\u2019t trash it, don\u2019t throw it away, and don\u2019t fade away.\u00a0 Don\u2019t waste time thinking about the Great Beyond, live for now, enjoy life and friend and family, and let that be your memorial.\u00a0 It\u2019s been said over and over that life is fleeting.\u00a0 It is indeed, and precious, spend that time wisely and let that be your memorial when you\u2019re gone.\u00a0 If there\u2019s a God, this life is the gift he\/she has given us, don\u2019t waste it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
